HAL RS232 Node

The RS232 node provides a mechanism for operation of external devices as part of a HAL Lighting or Automation system via RS232.

It can be configured to transmit specific RS232 strings at the command of a Lifepad controller or at the occurrence of some other specific event such as the triggering of another automation module.

All RS232 parameters such as baud rate, data bits, stop bits, flow control can be configured from the HAL configuration software to ensure communication with external devices.

HAL Supervisor

The HAL supervisor is the brains of a HAL lighting or automation network and controls all network traffic. It is the bridge between HAL lighting, automation and AV modules and either HAL, or third party automation systems. It is equipped with dual HAL network ports and a single RS232 connection.

Its purpose is to translate feedback from HAL modules to RS232 commands and to receive RS232 commands from external devices and convey them to HAL modules.

HAL Analogue I/O

The HAL Analogue I/O is our most versatile interface device it is able to measure variations in voltage, current and resistance as well as generate specific voltages, current and resistive loads. This allows it to interface with a wide variety of external devices. Everything from dimmable fluorescent and LED lighting ballasts to air conditioning thermostats and interface boards.

HAL Relay I/0

The HAL low voltage Relay Module is an 8 channel automation product designed to open or close internal relays and therefore interface with appropriately specified electro mechanical devices.

It can handle anywhere between 0 and 24V and up to XXXmA on any of its 8 channels to supply power to external devices such as reticulation solenoids, projection screens, plasma lifts and blind motors.
